These were our key influences which we drew upon when coming up with our own film:

Our key influences were films related to black comedy such as Heather and clips related to teens, such as Skins. We researched these films for inspiration into lighting, editing style, general mise-en-scene and storyline. Heathers was our main infuence because it is a black comedy about teenagers and a large staged suicide trend that begins to happen in her school when she meets a rebel. Our film started off as being a film in which a girl gets revenge on her friend by causing her to overdose, and after watching Heathers we decided this should spark a large revenge trend.
